Personality:

Laucain is Arrogent, snide and cynical. His most Important Value is Power. My most important person is his cat (but he will deny it forever). People are obstacles to be destoryed if they cross me


History:

Laucain was from one of the larger Konasta settlements on Neo Earth. His mother died at his birth (oh how sad really you should be shedding tears right now) and his father was a business man who had no time for him. Due to not having anyone around he join one of the larger gangs in the area. So he became yet another troubled youth. At a drug deal gone bad Laucain got arrested. His father was able to hire him a Big Wig lawyer so all he got was a slap on the hand.

This was the straw that broke his father�s back. He was sent to a Monastery because his father believed him learning the ways of Martial Arts would discipline him like it did to him. Laucain was furious. When Laucain first set foot in the monastery he told the teachers to hell with there teachings and swung at one of the older Monks. The next thing Laucain remembers is waking up on the floor and being told to move a marble to one spot on the ground with his face. After 5 times (and one big headache ) he submitted and moved the freaking marble. It took him 27 tries ( He could of swore he got it in the exact spot on the 11th try....).

After Laucain cooled down he was sent to his first practice. There he learned that these Old Farts wanted to teach him how to hurt people ( well they didn�t put it that way ). With a new found devotion Laucain went into his studies. He forced himself to always be the last one done with training and the last one to go to sleep. When the teachers had him mediate he was thinking about his training and how powerful he would be. He quickly went to the top of his class. However Laucain grew even more Snide during his training. He wouldn�t be friends with any of the other students and would only converse if it was required for his training. When Laucain left the dojo all the head monk would say is �At least he found his own way of order.�

When Laucain left the dojo he decided he would market his new found skills. He was able to join on of the worlds best Assassin Guilds The Harvesters. He was known for someone you would hire to take out a strong target and not one who would hide in the shadows and hit someone from afar. Laucain�s code also had him go to his targets ahead of time to schedule a time when they would fight to the death. He would make sure he never harmed innocent if he could get away from it. He even took in the new born kitten of a corrupt corporate CEO who is his best and only friend (Though he will deny it to the day he dies). If anyone ever dishonored Laucain by running or having low life thugs come after him he would make sure there death was slow and painful. He would always respect his target as long as he got the same respect.

Laucain�s reputation grew. He was so feared that some targets would rather kill themselves then face him. Laucain was even able to talk to the head of the Harvesters as a equal. The head of the Harvesters made him a offer. He could change him into a Android so he would be even more powerful then he was. The thought of more power greatly please Laucain so he took up the offer. After the transformation he was at a level that most people on earth could not even dream of. He now travels the world looking for his next target or challenge.


Techniques:

Deflection: sort of like a body-hugging forcefield that reflects or deflects energy. Mosts Dragonball Warriors rely on Deflections to ward of energy attacks; very few just stand there and take the hit. In practice, a Deflection actually keeps the attack from affecting the fighter at all, he won't even take Knockback; the Deflection is what takes the hit. However; Deflections are not effective against physical attacks. A Deflection remains in place until either it is knocked down by a superior energy attack, dropped by the person who raised it, or the person who raised it is hit by a physical attack, like a weapon, or hand to hand blow, breaking concentration. Deflections are not automatic, it requires some kind or physical attacks to activate, like raising your hands or assuming a stable position. If the Deflection is Powered Up higher than the Energy attack it's deflecting, its automatically turns into a reflection. *Example: Karma Sen tackles the Master of Shadows with his best 100 point Fire Fusion Fingerbolt. The Master carelessly throws up a 200 points Deflection. 100 points Reflect back on Karma Sen.

Flight: This Power is what Dragonball: A New Legacy characters use to get around fast. At low energy levels, this power allows for flight at hypersonic speeds. (You may not exceed Mach 4 in atmosphere of a planet, unless you want to burn up your clothes, in space you may travel up to Mach 12. You must buy flight in 10 minutes amounts, at the maximum speed you plan to travel. Mach/Cost for 10 minutes.

Super Reflex Boost 2 (Increased Actions): Normally, characters in Dragonball can only do one thing each phase (3 seconds). But by channeling energy into their nervous systems, true warriors can perform many feats in the same blink of an eye. Super Reflex Boost 2 allows you to increase your number of actions by one or two for a single phase following the Super Reflex Boost. Energy Cost is 10 per action.

Hyperspeed: This technique allows for hypersonic speed during combat, this is the equalivant of moving Mach 4. Going into Hyperspeed requires spending 100 enery points for every phase in which you plan on being in Hyperspeed (Bought at the Beginning of Hyperspeed). When in Hyperspeed, you are literally fighting faster then the average eye can normally see, during Hyperspeed you are effectively invisible and undetectable, unless your opponent is moving equally as fast or can make a 1d20 + Mental + Mind check of 22. It requires a phase to try to spot someone moving around. If someone attacks you, you get a 'spot check' against DV 22 to be able to evade the attack, everytime you are attacked you get the 'spot check'. This does not give you the ability to see them, only spot the attack coming and evade. (This does include flight.)

Super Strength: Much like Super Reflex Boost, energy can be channeled to momentarily increase a character's strength as well. To raise your physical characteristic requires spending 10 PL for every 1 of additional physical characteristic each phase.

Unlimited Power Supply (Androids #16-18): These Androids were built with unlimited Power Supplies, enabling them to operate without stopping to rest or recharge. These Androids have the equivalent of an infinite Power Level statistic. They still have a Power Up statistic, which limits the amount of Power they can call upon during any given phase. An Android can draw an amount of power equal to their Power Up per phase by using a Power Up action. Androids can only gather as much Power as their Power Up x5 before their capacitors max out.

Built in Scouter: Laucain has a Scouter built into himself so he can detect and read power levels.

Sun Glasses: Laucain has Sunglasses that block out all shiny light. ( +4 to mental when a blinding flash takes place)

Martial Art Form, After Burners: Laucain has built in after burners to make him go faster ( - 6 to Physical + 6 to Move. )

Martial Art Form, Cannon Mode: Laucain�s arms transform into a cannon ( - 14 to Physical + 7 mental + 7 to combat, - 9 to fighting + 9 to power )

Martial Art Form, Serpent Focus: Laucain is trained to use his strength to make himself better in combat ( - 7 to Physical + 7 to Combat )

Snapping Punch: Laucain can knock you back with a punch ( Knock Back )

The Snake Whips it�s tail: Laucain knows how to trip people ( Roll as you would a Knock back but if Laucain would of knocked you back more then your move you fall where you stand and take one action to get up. If he didn�t then nothing happens. )

Rocket Punch: Laucain does a very fast punch ( - 10 to damage + 10 to hit )

Gravity Punch: Laucain uses his gravity generator built into him and unleashes a nasty punch ( + 10 to damage + 10 to hit )

Weapon Break: Laucain can break weapons in his hand. ( If Laucain has a weapon in his hand he rolls a Physical + d20 VS the weapons damage modifier + d20. If he wins he broke the weapon for the rest of the Spar or Quest. Afterwards you can go to Wal-Mart and get it fixed for nothing except the cost of closing all the small businesses in the area. )

Mental Break: Laucain can strike at the temples of a opponent to make it harder for them to think ( If Laucain connects with a normal fighting attack he may forgo damage to have a his Physical +d20 Vs Opponents Mental + d20. If he win opponents Mental Stat is halved for d6 rounds. )

Physical Break: Laucain can hit the muscles of a opponents making it tougher for them to hit hard ( If Laucain connects with a normal fighting attack he may forgo damage to have a his Physical +d20 Vs Opponents Physical + d20. If he win opponents Physical Stat is halved for d6 rounds. )

Combat Break: Laucain can hit the tendons of a opponent making it tougher for them to move ( If Laucain connects with a normal fighting attack he may forgo damage to have a his Physical +d20 Vs Opponents Combat + d20. If he win opponents Combat Stat is halved for d6 rounds. )

Move Break: Laucain can strike at the legs of a opponent to make it harder for them to move ( If Laucain connects with a normal fighting attack he may forgo damage to have a his Physical +d20 Vs Opponents Move + d20. If he win opponents Move Stat is halved for d6 rounds. )

Cobra Hold: Laucain can use a hold he learned while training in the monastery so he can move while having someone pinned. This move is great for taking hostages and using people as shields. (IF Laucain has a opponent pinned he may roll a Physical + Body +d20 - 3 VS his opponents Physical + Body +d20. If Laucain wins he may now move and change forms. He still can�t attack other people. If Laucain loses the grapple is lost. )

Face meet Ground, Ground meet Face: Laucain flies into the air with people in cobra Hold. He then dives bombs into the ground slamming his opponent into the ground and pulling up in the nick of time for himself ( Must have Cobra Hold to do. Laucain can move his full move once per action straight up. He may do this for as many phases as he wants. Once at the desired height he then dives straight down slamming his opponent into the ground. Opponent takes falling damage. If Opponent is able to break free s/he must use the very next action to start flying. Laucain may also use this move at Hyper speed. If opponent breaks free when Laucain is going at Hyper speed s/he may then roll mental to see him. It takes another turn after you start flying to go Hyper Speed if you choose to. )

Use them as a Shield: Laucain can use people he has in Cobra Hold as shields ( If Laucain has someone in Cobra Hold on a successful evade of a attack Laucain may choose to have them hit instead. )

Viper Strike: Laucain can open himself to attack for a instance grab. ( Laucain can choose to not evade a melee attack to take damage and grab a opponent. The opponent may still roll to break free. )

Puff of Smoke: Laucain�s Cybernetic lungs have the ability to puff out smoke because of all his smoking. ( uses Power + Mental for DV. Anyone caught in the Cloud of Smoke must make a Mental check or breath in the fumes and be disabled just like a blinding flash. +5 DV for every move the cloud is and + 5 DV for every round it stays. )

Inner Energy Bomb: Laucain can focus all his Energy out from him for a attack ( AOE with Laucain as the center. )

Big Ball Buster: Laucain�s can launch a massive ball of Black and Blue Energy at people. ( AOE Energy attack that Laucain shoots at people. )

Nuclear Fist: Laucain charges his energy into a fist ( Energy attack that must be attached to a Melee attack )

Weighted Trench Coat: Laucain has been training in weighted clothing for over a year making his body heavier and forcing him to work harder to do his moves. Once Laucain removes his weighted clothing his combat skills (fighting, evasion, weapon, power, body) increase by 10% for the battle. However, he must immediately replace the clothing and continue to wear it as usual after the battle is over or lose the advantage it gives him.
