Cream together sugars, butter and oil until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients, add to first mixure and mix well. Roll out on well floured surface and cut into shapes with cookie cutter. This may take lots of extra flour to keep it from sticking to bottom of surface. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes, depending on your oven , until brown on the bottom. The more the dough is worked, the tougher the cookies will become. Tastes great with frosting! |
