| Chocolate Covered Cherries |
| 2 big jars maraschino cherries (drained) f1/3 cup soft margarine 2 cups marshamallow creme 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 4 cups powdered sugar Mix all ingredients (except cherries) into ball and chill 1 hour or longer. Break off a little piece and flatten in the palm of your hand. This is easier if you put some powdered sugar in your palm first to help prevent sticking. Place cherry in center and fold into ball- freeze overnight. Chocolate Dipping: 2 12 oz. pkgs. chocolate chips 1/2 bar paraffin Melt chocolate chips over double boiler with the paraffin. Drop ball in chocolate and work with 2 teaspoons. Place on waxed paper to set up. Dot spots with chocolate that have been missed. Refrigerate - takes 2 weeks to juice. |
