How do I tell, the story of the Desert Blades? There is much to what we were
and what we will become. Out of the war torn and famine stricken shores of
the famous Nile we came, sons and followers of the foully murdered morning
and evening star, Zanxby XIV. When the soldiers of my father's trusted
advisor General Akhenaton fell upon us with their treacherous blades, we
fought back with the ferocity our pride demanded. My heart cries out and my
my blood screams in furious anger when I picture our ravaged land.

O fellows, I bid you, raise your voices to the sky and cry aloud for the
fallen lands of Pharaoh.

In the end we knew that our place in the world had been disturbed for
eternity, our dynasty had to find a new place, to forge it in sun and fire,
sand and blood, the hard creed of the desert. We left our beloved homeland,
my brother, the Morning and Evening Star, Pharaoh Zanxby XV, the revered and
wise Vizier of my fathers and a Prince of the Blood, Nebukanezzer the Ancient
and myself, Prince Loras Shai'tan. We left behind our hearts as well among
the blood soaked sands of the pyramids. We came upon this land and found our
place, striving for the lost glories of our mystical cities. We built a
fortress in the form of the Great Pyramid. In this land we struggled and yet
we survived. And so, I call to those who have honor, to those who are brave
and steadfast in their desire for the glory of the Pharaoh, those who hear
the blazing challenge of the Sun. Join us. This is our home now, and carve
it in sun and fire, sand and blood we will. We, the Star-Born, will not
fail in this task. We are the purifying and holy fire that consumes them, in
in in the name of the Morning and the Evening Star, the Son of the Sun, we
have come to conquer. Topple us, if you dare.
