Winter Solstice XLI

The Frost returns on this darkest of nights, and warmth is gathered by the Devil's flame. Outside the window, resounds howling wind and hellhounds, sleet and snow and rain, while within The Lair eyes are aglow in wide wonder as pandora's box is opened, releasing the delightful mysteries within. Wishes are cast up in the Yule fire as musical evocations are adrift with incense charm.

The brood gathers to indulge in feastivities, spawned back from ancient traditions as we focus on The Source. Rich confections and philtres are brought forth on silver platters to please the Kings and Queens of The Lair.

Gather 'round The Krampus Tree decorated in diabolic delight, with spiders and bats and snakes and skulls, dancing devils, demon heads and pentagrams. Nine candles represent the seven 'sins' of carnal joy, and two for Satan and The Self.

We formally hail indulgence in all forms we enjoy for mutual gratification this night, and partake in our newly-found acquisitions in pleasure and passion!

The clouds darken the skies as Satan-Lucifer looms about the land in cumulus formation, overseeing denizens of ghoulish countenance entering through The Gate to roam the land on this night. From the vast Abyss that is the Universe, come forth thought-forms of the Imagination, joining as one compliments the other in tenebrous rapport.

Screams of delight and fear fill the incense-scented night air with fanciful images of darksome fane, in haunted dimensions spreading shadowy reflections of nightmares and dreams. This night we are entertained by the populace who attempt to laugh away insecurities while preserving dreadful fear when dim silence pervaids. What is felt is true to the dichotemy of the species, and shall continue to be so by nature's innate undefiled wisdom.

We are the incarnate phantoms of the dark side of the subconcious always present, veritable humanimal werewolves among sheeple, and by whatever form pleases us, remain the mighty over the meek.

The Devil is the "reason for the season", though felt omnipresently in flesh and bone with honest contemplation of the Magical Beast-God that is The Self. Indulge in all manner of carnal delights, "tricks and treats" dispensed to those who are deserving, and for mutual gratification. Salacious or terrifying accoutrement expressing the inner daemon revealed...

Description: The Brimstone sigil dwells as the focal point, and has been used in the King Diamond Logo itself, and is the symbol above The Nine Satanic Statements in The Satanic Bible. The Pentagram intercrosses the diamond which forms a crown above, thus asserting the phrase "King Diamond". The entirety of the angles add up to Nine, Satan's Number.

I had written in a previous entry that this configuration had haunted My mind until I brought it to the third dimension. Then I sent it over to administrators on the Official Coven site with a request to have it forwarded to King Diamond. It is a pleasing to see that it is being appreciated.

"In 1966, San Francisco sorcerer Anton LaVey exploded into international prominence as he formed the notorious Church of Satan. This was a most empowering experience. This was an event like no other in history, whose influence shall be felt both overtly and covertly unto timelessness. Even though Satanists tend not to be a social lot, the essence of The Cabal known as The Church of Satan was displayed this night by the alien elite in attendence - exemplary and regal creatures all, the black flame alighting a Luciferian torch of reason by theory and practice, psychodrama and action. The creativity and imagination, the intelligence, talents, and skill of these exceptional individuals concentrated at this infernal convergence was a true Sintennial, and a testament to superior human potential in the evolution of The Self.

While the stuporstitious herd prattle about with their trivial and mediocre concerns, programmed sub-existences, insecurities masked as righteousness and evident in hypocrisy, here there was a true gathering of outstanding individuals, the earth�s foremost iconoclasts moving the world according to the will.

I Am pleased that I took part in this veritable �Sabbath�, and mutually honored to make your acquaintances. I feel that Dr. LaVey would have been proud.

This past "666 Hell-A week" wrought one infernal synchronicity after another, celebrating the essence of the carnal beast, and Magic was thick in the air {seemingly more than usual, that is} - I made several notable acquaintances, and it was an overall diabolically pleasing convergence. | Much a-do has been proliferated about what the 'meaning' of the alleged number of The Beast is, through all sorts of geometrical configurations, apocalyptic prognostications, and biblical meanderings, and to The Satanist, it is merely a time to enjoy the various entertainments increasing now, to gleefully manipulate the stuporstitious fears of the herd, while asserting knowledge and reason over ignorance and fear. in which they will remain in one form or another, for it is in their unfortunate broken nature to do so.

Hypothetically, if there is a meaning to this mysterious number of the beast that is man, let it be defined by The Devil. The mystery and fascination shall continue to be, as it haunts the minds of the populace. So in the essence of this lokian and Promethian 'spirit', the Satanist is the avatar towards the higher phase of evolution, championing the purity of being in the realization of the primal self, tempered with civility and justice. For those not attending the Sintennial festivities in Hell-A for whatever reason, I have compiled the following suggestions in celebration of 6 | 6 | 6:

Recommendations for the 6 | 6 | 6 Sintennial Sabbath
Black Mass, Baptism, Infernal Conception, celebration

* Utilize this date for the performance of Le Messe Noir from The Satanic Rituals to purge your mind of any lingering blindlight influence.
* Perform The Satanic Baptism rite from The Satanic Rituals for oneself. By the essence of self-deification, commence with the formal dedication to the precepts of Lucifer.
* Conceive a demon child with one's mate - the more dramatic, the better. For instance, Open the ceremony in the standard manner as outlined in The Satanic Bible, and after opening The Gates of Hell and The Four-Crown Princes of Hell are called, commit that time to enjoy the pleasure of sex with your mate for the intent of conceiving a child in Satan's name. {May also be performed during Le Messe Noir within the section mentioned for the purpose of performance}.
* Listen to The Satanic Mass CD, and follow along with the litany at hours such at 6:06 am, 6:06 pm, at the time of The High Mass, or midnight.
* Invite friends to see the new Omen premiere, and/or to The Lair and watch the original Omen trilogy, or at least played in the background during the festivities.

On this blessed night in Year One, the dawn of the Age of Fire came to be; as Hell raged high and mighty and proud. Anton Szandor LaVey shaved his head and assumed his position as Satan's Pope on earth. Zam-Zam's tide swelled with the rising of Leviathan, and Lucifer on leathern wings passed through the trapezoidal gateway; the gleaming of the blade clean upon flesh. The Devil's Church was built in the fertile minds of those adepts from all corners of the black earth. Black candles glowed imperiously into the velvet darkness, and so it has been for many a night since. Baphomet's eyes aglow with lust and pleasure, and life sprang forth from the glistening fountains of Melek Taus' domain.

With the dissemination of true Satanism, The Church of Satan continues to remain unmatched, Magus Gilmore presides as Our High Priest, and with The Hierarchy, embody exemplary successors to the LaVeyan Legacy.

Those who presumed to be against us have fallen by the wayside, inconsequential. Those who have attempted to replicate us remain in mediocrity, for stratification banishes them into the lower echelons of banal existence, unworthy and forgotten. While those with us have prospered in all walks of life, where their hooves may have stepped, with horns remaining high.

Welcome to The Darkside...

My idea to initiate a store named "The Darkside" came to mind one day as I contemplated an establishment which has faded into obscurity called "The Private Eye", from where I obtained many occult and musical items at the time. When it closed, it was missed, for there was no longer a physical place to enter and chat with the owner, as well as meet others who shared in My interests, and musicians I admired. So I resorted to mostly mail order and catalogue purchases. This online manifestation is created in the dark spirit of that store, which contained the Lighthouse Effect / The Command to Look amidst the mediocre edifices surrounding it, looming as a gaping hellmouth amidst the commoners.

The Darkside deems to provide speciality items for those of Satanic preference. Herein is made available items for Lair decor, ritual implements, accoutrement, memento moris, objects d'art, music, literature, and choice films for your pleasure.

Prior to The Darkside, on many occasions one had to frequently dig through blindlight obfuscation in order to get to the diabolically meaningful items one desires. What I have done is compiled this selection from various sources, to have it all in one place, and thought Walpurgisnacht XLI Anno Satanas, in the Year of 666, would be the perfect time to open The Gates of Hell and unleash this gratifying abomination upon the black earth.

The Darkside is for those who give The Devil His due, dedicated to the true Children of Darkness who appreciate the infernal aesthetic.
