Tricruiser by Americruiser
If you order one and tell Sid that Kim in Seattle referred you and he will send me a check for $50.  The money doesn't really matter, I would highly recommend the Tricruiser anyway.

I explored my options for a trike.  I looked at the adult trike that folds up, but I didn't think it looked very comfortable and was reminded of the days when I rode a 2 wheeler, and all the back and rear pains associated with biking.
Then I saw a Delta Trike, an ez3.  It looks like a chopper.  So it was time to read.  A Delta trike has 2 rear wheels, and 1 front wheel.  Some reading I found suggested that the Delta type trike is a bit tippy when cornering.  I envisioned myself going down a steep grade with a banked corner...  the tippy part made sence.  I remembered the days of being a kid on a snowmobile.  I could not stay upright in a corner to save my life.  My dad was weary of righting my snowmobile.
Then  I found the tadpole trike, (2wheels in front, and 1 in rear) it is much more stable in the corners.  Since I was looking for a trike for balance reasons, it seemed that I would be wanting a tadpole trike. If you look at tadpoles, they are quite pricey!  Some brands it would be easy to drop $4k on one.  Not to mention most seem to want the driver to lie down while riding.  Making the whole unit quite low to the ground, and difficult to get in/ out of.
Then I came across the website for the Tricruiser.  I contacted Sid.  He builds each unit himself, and tests them for any bugs.  He has been great to work with.  I did spring for the front brakes.  I think they are definitely worth it!  I can stop on a dime, which was a primary concern.  Granted you will not be going that fast on one of these.  My 19 year old got it up to 18mph, and said it started to shimmy a bit.  The fastest I have personally gone is 15mph.  But I normally go 5-10mph.  It is like sitting in a lawnchair.
