| Our book said it was a rustic park, so we decided to check it out. It was. Being a state park the $ was a bit much for what they offered, they picked our site for us, which turned out fine. It was a pull thru right on the water. What struck me as odd, was the fact that the ranger told us the dogs were NOT allowed on the beach, which was a stones throw away from our site... oh well. I was expecting something different when they added that rule, but I was surprised to find bones, and aged cow pies at the waters edge. At least the dogs wouldn't be rubbing in all the fun stuff... The campfire was already burning when we arrived, so we decided to spend some time by the fire. It was an awsome sunset! |
