We woke up at the campground at Stump Lake in North Dakota.  The clouds came in and it rained and thundered during the night.  The thunder was loud and long and the drips really slammed into the roof.  I woke up at one point and Samantha was shivering and panting in the corner.  Fortunately, it didn't last all night and I think she got some sleep.

The weather looked gray and cloudy and it was reminiscent of  Seattle.  Not until we went outside did the atmosphere cheer up and you could hear the birds and the clouds felt lighter than in the camper.

Sam and I went for a long walk along all the pathways and we found a road that had been closed because of flooding.  I let her off leash and she ran happily down the road to the end that was covered in lapping water.

Kim fixed us a wonderful dinner of noodles and spinach.  After eating, we got the rig set and headed out.

Shortly after we left North Dakota the clouds cleared and I felt a lift of spirits as the sun peeked out and we saw blue sky.  We went to Crookston, MN and found a city park campground to stay at that charges $12 for RV's, electricity included.  We got our bikes down and we all, Kim, Ginger, Samantha and I went down a few trails together.  I just love having the trike and I get to have Kim with me!

Alright, I hope I sleep better tonight and its great to be in Minnesota.... I do see clouds coming... must be that gray cloud that hovers over our heads throughout our adventure!
