This site will always be under construction
I have been carving wood since 1975. It all
began after making an aniversary visit to Eureka Springs, Ark. and Silver
Dollar City Mo.
I enjoyed the woodcarvings so much I just picked
up a piece of scrap wood and started carving.
At first most of them were very out of proportion
and just ugly.
After years of practice it just became more fun
and more challenging.
I began using a chainsaw about 10 years ago.
I stopped carving altogether for a couple of
years, for personel reasons.
I finally understood why I was given a talent
to take a piece of wood and see something in it that would make someone
laugh or smile, or cry, or just look for long
periods of time trying to figure it out.
I know I am not creating anything new. God made
the wood. I just uncover what is inside.
