You will need:
Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or Paint
An account on photobucket or another online image album
An image
So, you want to make a blog?
Well... these are simple instructions. Maybe not very descriptive or professional, but it explains pretty much most of it. Okay?
1. Open Paint (start>all programs>accessories>paint) or any other image-editing program. I prefer Paint Shop Pro. If you do not have it, click here for the free trial.
2. After you have opened either one of them, select or draw an image and paste it (if you are copying it) in Paint or PSP.
3. After you have your image, select a text area--if you want to--and change the opacity (with or without a border) or make it slightly blurry so when you make it, it will look better.
4. Save your picture in a .jpg or .gif file, and then go to photobucket.com. If you do not have an account, create one. Select your picture and save it in your album.
5. Open another window and go to The Risen Realm to code your blog.
6. Click on "Launch BlogFusion Weblog Coder" to code your blog. Read the terms and then click on "Next" to proceed.
7. Copy your image's URL into the first box where it says URL. Then put in the height and width of your image. You can find that by right clicking and pressing properties. Press next.
8. Put in the hex color codes. Those codes represent the colors you want the parts of your scrollbar to be. You can find those codes under HTML in our site. Press next.
9. The posts you see are just examples that will be shown in the text area. You can delete that and put in whatever you want. Press next.
10. Ignore the next page if you dont want full page html. Press next.
11. The instructions there are pretty clear. I don't think I need to explain it more. Press next.
12. Okay. Now you make your text area. If you have already selected it when you had it on Paint or PSP, click on one corner and then the corner diagonal from it. Press next when you are happy.
13. Copy the code into your HTML editor.
14. Thirteen steps are unlucky so Kaihou put an extra step. Hope you like your blog.
