| Tutorials for Newbies This setion was specially made for the newbies that cant work out how to run these roms, well, never fear, the Dbflare Staff are here! Over here, you'll find answer to qustions and solutions to problems, lets begin shall we.... ok, lets go over things so you know what everything is. Roms: These are games coded on PC to run on certain types of Emulators. Think of Roms as the Game Emulators: These are consoles coded on PC to run certain types of Roms Think of Emulators as the Console Winzip: A program used to unzip Compressed folders. Roms cant Run without the Emulator just like Games Cant Run without the Console, this also means that only certain Roms will work on Certain Emulators, for example, Super Mario for the Nes cannot work if played with the Sega Mastersystem Emulator. Right about now your probably thinking, ok, enough of the lecture, how do I play!!! here are the instructions 1. Check that you have WinZip on your Pc, if not go on www.winzip.com download and install it on your PC. 2. Now that you have Winzip, you can Unzip the Files, because this is just a tutorial, we urge you to download the Zsnes Emulator (Save the Emulator on the Desktop), which can be located in the Media Section on the Roms and Emulators page, we ask this of you as a test only. 3. Downloaded the Emulator? ok, now go back to the Snes page, and download a Rom, any will be fine, AS LONG AS IT IS A SNES ROM (Make sure you save it to your Desktop) 4. Ok, now Unzip the Files, do this by double clicking the emulator Icon on your Desktop, keep clicking Next, then click unzip, 5. this should bring a new folder up, cut and Paste the Snes Rom you downloaded from your desktop to that Folder 6. Double Click the Emulator, then you should be brought up to a new screen, most of the time, the Snes emulator asks you to press Z to activate it, but dont worry if it doesn't. 7. Exit, by clicking the X at the top right corner of the screen or click Alt and F4, that was jus a test to get the Emulator to work. 8. Remember the Rom you pasted into the Folder, well now, drag that rom into the ZSnes Emulator Icon, this should start up your Rom. 9. That's it! you've done it, do this same procedure with every Rom you download and Make sure that it is the right Rom for the right emulator! F.A.Q Q. Why am I only allowed to download a game for only 24 hrs A. Because it is Illegal to keep the Rom for over 24 hrs unless you own the actuall game. Q. Is Winzip the only Program that can Unzip files A. No, there are other one's, we recomend Winzip, however, there are also WinRar and AinAce. Q. Can you Download PS2/Gamecube/Xbox Emulators A. There are rumours, but so far the only coded one is the Gamecube one, but there are no Roms for the Emulator, the PS2 and Xbox one's cannot be Coded as of yet Q. What about the PSX A. Yes, there are PS1 Emulators, but you need the actuall games to play the on the Emulator |
