| Gundam Wing Number of episodes: 49 Rating: ***** Introduction: Gundam Wing is a great anime series that I have loved from the very day I heard of it. The battles, the Gundam�s and the storyline left me in despair at the end of the series. The artwork of Gundam Wing is not at all primitive and can be compared to new versions of animation like Boogiepop Phantom and Gravion Zewi. Synopsis: The year is AC 165 and the people of earth have separated to live in five different colonies in space. Advanced technology exists in this era and tanks are not the main form of weaponry, the new form of weaponry are mobile suits. To ensure peace in the five colonies there is an organisation called the Alliance created to ensure peace between the five colonies but the Alliance does not actually care about the lives of the people but just cares about the actual delusion of peace. Five people rebel against the Alliance. These people are armed in advanced mobile suits called Gundam�s. These Gundam�s are made from a new form of metal called Gundainum alloy. The five pilots of the suits are: 1. Heero Yuy pilot of Wing Zero 2. Wufei Chang pilot of Nataku 3. Duo Maxwell pilot of Deathscyche 4. Trowa Barton pilot of Heavyarms 5. Quatre Reberta Winner pilot of Sandrock Review: Gundam wing is one of my favourite anime series for many reasons like the music and battles. Music: Just Communication is one of the best anime songs that I have ever heard in my life because of the female singer who sung the song. The BGM tracks are also great especially the theme of Epion. Story: The story is greatly set out and for a serious futuristic anime can be understood by even a little kid. The series however did have a narration of what has happened at the start of the series and like in most other anime series an episode dedicated to what has currently happened. Animation: The futuristic battles are great and have great detail is all sections. There was not one dull moment in Gundam wing and I say that with pride.
