| Goku is the fundamental character in the whole of Dragonball he is basically what the whole series is centred around. Goku first arrived on Earth as a small Saiyan sent there to destroy it for the future invasion of the saiyan race but he took a liking to it after the compassion showed by those who found him. Goku has continued to grow in strenght although he was killed by his brother Radditz in an attempt to save the world, he was revived and battled Vegeta saving the world again. Goku then traveled to the planet Namek and helped the gang [Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, Piccolo] on the way to beat the infamous Frieza, here Goku turned into the legendary Super Saiyan (SSJ1) and defeated Frieza, but the planet exploded and our heros were shrouded in doubt whether Goku had made it off the planet or not. Goku did return though and trained to fight the androids although struck by a heart disease he did his bit and sacrificed his life for earth yet again by taking Cell's self destruct bomb away from earth. No matter what Goku did return to earth firstly for the World Martial Arts Tournament in the Saiyaman Saga and was revived by the means of Supreme Kai giving his life for Goku so he could fight Goku returned with a vengeance firstly shocking all that he was SSJ2 and then transforming into SSJ3 to help defeat Buu. Yet after the Buu Saga Goku went off to train with Uh Buu he returned and was turned into a child although he had limited power in his "child" form he saved the world over and over and in the end was given the privilege of becoming immortal like the dragon shenron himself and he lived on as the Earth's Guardian. Goku: Super Saiyan forms: SSJ1: Frieza Saga SSJ2: While dead in "Other" world SSJ3: Buu Saga SSJ4: Shadow Dragon Saga Goku Trademark Attacks: Kamehameha: A powerful wave launched by concentrating energy taught to Goku by Master Roshi when first finding Dragonballs in the Dragonball series Kiao Ken: Taught to him by King Kai which boosts Goku's power. Spirit Bomb: An enormous attack which requires the energy of living organisms also taught by king Kai. Goku's Lifestyle: Hits: Well cooked food, Sleeping.
