| Blue Gender Youji, has been struck by a terrible sickness has decided to become a sleeper- this is when a person is put away to a cyrogenic sleep until science can find a cure for the disease. When Youji awakes, he expects the world has changed, he is half right- man eating giant bug oraganisms called blue have overrun the beautiful Earth and have pushed Mankind into the extinction list, it's only hope is to unleash a team of mecha pilots that battle it out with the creatures- they managed to save Youji's life so to pay them back, he joins their quest. Writer's Review This Anime isn't in my top anime lists, because of it's un-realistic 'man eating creatures' they couldv'e at least made them androids, or machines, but it's because of Blue Gender's unorthodox storyline that I chose to review this, simply because I feel that it's good to be different!
