Vegeta was born on the planet of the same name, and has the royal bloodline that will let him become a Super-Saiyan. One of Furiza's numerous henchmen, he is thought to be one of the greatest fighters in the universe. Vegeta is one of the few Saiyans to survive the destruction of the planet Vegeta, along with Raditz, Nappa and Goku. He is very jealous of Goku's fighting skills and power, and actually helps Goku occasionally, just so he has someone to compete with. Vegeta craves nothing but ultimate power until the end of DBZ.

Making an appearance only in the last episode of DBGT, Vegeta Jr. battles Goku Jr. in a somewhat futuristic arena. He can attain the level of SSJ like Goku.

King Vegeta is the father of the famed warrior Vegeta. Unlike most of the Saiyans, he does not send Vegeta off to another world, but instead stays with him and fosters the stubborn Vegeta we all know now. Even though King Vegeta is one of the strongest warriors on the planet Vegeta, he is defeated very easily by Furiza.

With the use of the Potara earrings, Goku and Vegeta can merge to become Vegitto. Although he isn't as arrogant and as cocky as Gotenks, he still does waste time, and his opponents often take advantage of this. This type of fusion is supposed to last forever, but the laws of physics change when they enter the body of Kid Buu. In this fusion between Goku and Vegeta, Vegeta is the dominant form.

Videl is the son of the "one and only" Hercule. She is Gohan's girlfriend,and goes to the same high school as him. Gohan teaches her how to fly and fight, and she helps the Great Saiyaman in many of his fights. Chi-Chi wants videl to be the wife of Gohan, and doesn't hid eher intentions from anyone. She eventually does marry gohan and together have a baby girl named Pan.
