Mokeles rule the rivers and wetlands of Africa, and during warmer periods have spread to parts of Europe as well. These sauropods live like hippopotami, though their armour makes them an even tougher challenge to the large crocodiles as well as theropods (though they hardly ever wander to dry land anyhow, since thanks to their long neck they can easily feed on the plants growing on the river banks without leaving the water).

The largest mokeles reach and even exceed the length of 11 meters, but most are smaller.
