| Another Recently Heard Comment: My agent isn't doing anything for me, I'm not getting any auditions or anything WAHHHH! Reality: NO ONE is getting ANYTHING! The projects currently filming in the area are PRIMARILY using Los Angeles day players for the speaking parts ----- New Mexicans are getting EXTRA roles ---- DUHHH! Do NOT mistakenly ASSume that your agent or your agency is NOT trying to get you into auditions that will enable YOU to get a better chance at a speaking part It's their skins too --- if you are not getting into auditions or speaking parts, you are not getting hired and your agent is NOT making MONEY ! Screw your head on straight and get it right! If you want to cry to someone try letting your agents know and both of you write to either the Governor's Office or to the Legislators who wrote and sponsored the bills that have enabled this mess to start. | Emails and the Internet Some people are being credited for being the best thing since sliced bread as they mail out several unsolicitated casting calls and other articles written for actors WELL --- IT'S NOT TRUE! These individuals are FORWARDING info that has either been paid for (hence illegal to pass on) or are FORWARDING articles WITHOUT the writers permission These people are only trying to bolster their egos and their own sense of self-importance Get it straight! |
