Dragon Ball Blue Romz

Final Fantasy 3

Review:

The “Final Fantasy” series, what other games have made such a long-lasting impact on rpgs?  None, and “FF6” truly begins to make the series truly great.  It stands out as one of the best rpgs for the Snes and one of the best FF in the series.

This installment of the series introduces an intricate story, great semi-linear gameplay, around 20 playable characters, superb music, multiple endings, and many secrets and little details.  All these things combine to make an excellent edition to this highly acclaimed series.

The battle system is real-time and is pretty basic, though most characters do have something unique they can do during battle.  At times you will have to split into parties, and use several parties at the same time to complete some areas.  This is an excellent aspect of the game, and makes you keep all your characters leveled up and not just a select few.  Throughout the game you will be collecting things called espers.  These are the souls of magic-using beings by the same name.  There are also plenty of little minigames and sidequests throughout that will keep you busy.

The story is very in-depth, but the basic plot is that a war 1000 years ago caused magic to cease to exist, and technology has become supreme, but you for some reason seem to be able to use magic….

This game is really a great addition to any collection, and if you haven’t played it, you really don’t know what you’re missing.  Any self-respecting rpg player will want to play this game at least once, and if all this hasn’t been enough to convince you, I know one thing that will.  You get to control a moogle J.  10/10
