Enforcers (Season 6: 7-3; lost DSL Final)
The departure of captain Shawn Walling for greener pastures has the Enforcers reeling, with only the 36-year-old Bobby Romine to right the ship. The team was able to re-sign long-time Enforcer, Kenneth Kingsley, but he has never shown much except in the way of dodging. The female side, with Sylvia Nielsen and Roxanne Atwood, look to be the main weapons offensively, and this interesting mix of offense and defense could blow up in the Enforcers' faces this season.

Hitmen (Season 6: 8-2; DSL Champions)
The defending champions weren't afraid to change their roster heading into the season, losing captain Daniel Engel to free agency and trading away young phenom Stephanie McCulloch. What they lost in those two though they may have more than gained for in the newest Hitmen, Ronald Rupe and Yolanda Mann. Both all-stars from last season, they could make the Hitmen an even more dangerous team catching-wise than before. How the Hitmen fare is dependent as before on team chemistry.

Hornets (Season 6: 5-5; lost Classic Final)
Having the greatest scorer in league history is never something to be ashamed of. Yet for the Hornets and Chris Trott, they've seen that his mere presence has not been enough, especially recently. The Hornets did not change anything on their roster this season, opting to stay put with the players they had. Alot is dependent on Chris Trott, but there will be some backup needed if the Hornets are to succeed this campaign. Kathleen Mackey and Samuel Bloodworth will both need to be big-time regenerators to keep Trott playing in games and striking fear into opponents. There is no true success for this proud franchise otherwise.

Mobsters (Season 6: 3-7; missed the playoffs)
For a team that had made the last four Elite Division finals but failed to advance, season 6 was a low of lows. Rookie Beth Langton vastly failed to impress with a horrific 64 points last season; her sophomore season must have a better output. The signings of Daniel Engel and Mike Oden bring a greater killing/catching presence to this club, and with Rodney Montes, this could be the most feared male trio in the league. The talent that is on paper will have to translate to the court in the form of wins and a playoff appearance this season, and if that doesn't happen, it's hard to know what will for the Mobsters.
