Unlike the past two seasons, when only one rookie was able to enter in each season, season 7 will see at least two rookies debuting with the imminent retirements of Roger Bey from the Arsenal and Ralph Arredondo from the Mobsters. The ever-present aging of players could also bring about retirements from Debbie Chestnut and Bobby Romine. This article will preview the maximum four possible new rookies.

Brian Paulsen appears to be the class of the new rookies, entering the league at his peak (27 years old). He lacks alot in speed but makes up for it in quickness. His throwing power is above average and should be good for at least 15 kills this season.

Greg Lawrence (age 30) is a very fit player but lacks alot in technical skill. Watch for his throws to have power but to be too often errant. He may get 10 kills, but those kills could be offset by how often his throws will be caught.

James Gardener (age 25) is a possible new rookie, dependent on whether Bobby Romine retires. He lacks significantly in every area except for his quickness. He should become an adept dodger in the league, and thus his team will probably want to avoid him handling or attempting to handle the ball very much.

Holly Clavell (25 years of age) may enter the league, contingent on the possible retirement of Debbie Chestnut. She's not the most agile athlete but does possess a killer arm, especially for a female player. Made in the same type of mold as Sara Jeanbaptiste, Clavell could achieve frequent double-double seasons (10 kills, 10 catches).
