Evolution
It seems to me that everybody has excepted the evolution theory as fact.
Perhaps we should define this word "theory" according to Websters dictionary,
"The philosophical explanation of phenomena, either physical or moral.".
If a theory is philosophical, then why do so many people assume that it
is fact? I would like to analyze this theory to determine whether it should
be considered fact or fiction.
According to the current theory the primordial amoebas evolved into
new species through cumulative mutations. A mutation is a mistake in the
synthesis of DNA that can occur naturally. DNA polymerase, the enzyme that
builds DNA has an error rate of one error per TEN BILLION base pairs. A
base pair is a unit in the DNA code. Evolution is supposed to be caused
by "good" mutations that code for helpful changes in an animal.
-
The enzymes are so effective at "editing" DNA that mutations are extremely
rare.
-
In order for life to exist DNA, RNA, and all the hundreds of enzymes in
even an amoebas all had to be formed at the same time, in the same place,
and under perfect conditions. This is a basic flaw in all theories of spontaneous
generation and no evolutionist has ever dealt with it.
-
All known mutations range from mildly bad to fatal. Cancer is the result
of certain mutations, so is Tay-Sachs and other deadly diseases.
-
If one base pair mutates it can kill or severely handicap an animal, therefore
even if a mutation does occur that can even be good with further mutations
the animal that has it wouldn't last long enough to pass the mutation on
through its descendants.
-
Adaptations are impossible on the genetic level because there is no reason
for an animal in the jungle to be any more likely on the molecular level
to mutate into a variety that can climb trees than an animal living in
the arctic tundra. Even if you say that in a selective environment it is
more likely that a given mutant will benefit there is still no reason that
such mutants should arise in the first place. This makes Darwin's observations
fit in perfectly. The different finch strains all were present in the population
to begin with. Once they arrived on the Galapagos Islands they found their
particular niches. If you accept evolution then you have the problem of
how so many beneficial mutations just happened to take place in the relatively
short time the finch varieties were there.
-
Because mutations are so rare only one animal may develop a mutation and
therefor the children of that animal will only be partially affected by
this mutation. In order for a mutation to survive another animal must develop
the same mutation. The odds of the same mutation occurring twice naturally
is one in 100,000,000,000,000,000,000.
-
Survival of the fittest requires that the majority of a group of animals
develop multiple "good" mutations and that they survive and become predominant.
I don't have enough (web page) disk space describe the odds against this
happening but it has been calculated that the most insignificant change
of species in bacteria would take 100,000,000,000 years, assuming that
only several base pairs would have to mutate, a ridiculously optimistic
assumption.
-
Why do bacteria survive if according to Darwinian standards they are hardly
the "fittest"? So many more advanced life forms with far better defense
mechanisms have become extinct but bacteria thrive on.
-
There are 3,000,000,000 base pairs in human DNA. The error rate of DNA
synthesis is one in 10,000,000,000. Therefore about 30% of all people or
apes born have some mutation. There are 300,000,000 different base pairs
in the exons, the base pairs that really "count". The odds of a mutation
occurring in one of those base pairs is 3% of all births, ape or human.
The odds of all of the mutations hitting the right base pairs (exons) is
.02 of .02 done three hundred million times! But wait, it gets better.
As more "correct" mutations occur the odds fall steadily. When it is half
done only one in one hundred mutations is "good". At the 90% mark one in
500 mutations is positive. The odds of the final mutation occurring are
one in 3 billion! Remember that a single "bad" mutation can be certain
death. Most mutations that affect essential parts of DNA are so severe
that they result in miscarriages. If you realize how many billions of years
it would take for an ape to become a human assuming that the odds were
completely weighted in its favor can you even think of the odds against
an amoebas doing that!
I could go on but I think you got the point. The lack of any complete fossils
to back up evolution and the fact that paleontologists think they can reconstruct
a complete skeleton from a few teeth is another problem with the theory
of evolution. The whole idea that life and the human brain are the result
of random occurrences is absurd. Why is this theory taken as the ultimate
truth despite all the proof against it?
The answer is that evolution does away with God and reduces humans to
the level of animals. This allows people to do whatever they want without
guilt or fear of retribution. The amoral and decrepit society we live in
is entirely based on evolution. If people are merely animals in a random
world then why be burdened by ethics? Nazism is based on evolution: whoever
is not considered the fittest can't be allowed to survive. The philosophy
that the world is getting better is a great ego boost for civilization,
yet the core of evolution is that nothing has any meaning, life itself
has no purpose. The basic value of evolution is animalistic: Doing whatever
I feel like doing is the ultimate fulfillment of my existence. For the
intelligentsia of the Western world who embrace that idea I will sum up
my response: Here Professor, hear boy. Good dog.
Can it be that human life is worthless, a random lump of matter without
a purpose? Why are we here? Where are we going? What is the meaning of
life? We are not some animal species that walks the face of the earth aimlessly.
We are human beings created by God. If you think that is an unscientific
statement then please provide a seamless alternative without invoking blind
faith in atheism. The very dust of the earth bears witness to the greatness
of the Creator. How can any scientist not believe in God?
