Port Orange Race

Danae and David raced in the juniors race. The Laser team didn't show so the field size was smaller than usual. Danae got caught behind a crash, lost the pack, and was never able to get back on. David finished 3rd but fell off the wheel of Stephen and Luke.

David and I raced the Cat 5 race which was broke in to two races. The first race was very fast, around 26 to 30 mph and David finished 4th The second race was much slower and David finished 5th. I didn't do so well, I rode strong but wasted a lot of energy covering attacks, attempting to break away, and generally spending too much time on the front of the pack. I feel that I could have done much better if I had waited for a sprint finish.
