| WAWC Alumnus Aaron Parks won his 2nd consecutive Section 5 Class 4B Sectional crown Saturday 2/11 @ Attica Highschool. Aaron beat Pal-Mac's Cody Williams 9-1 to capture the 4B crown and move on to the State Qualifier @ Fairport 2/17-18. Aaron will be looking for a trip to "States" after withdrawing last year due to injury as a #1 seed. Other WAWC Alumni qualifying for SuperSectionals were Way-Co's Richy Sikes placing 2nd @ 119 lbs. , Adam Mortensen who placed 3rd @ 130 lbs. and Neal Vecellio placing 4th @ 103 lbs. Andy Wray and Brad Vecellio just missed Supers placing 5th @ 135 lbs. and 6th @ 112 lbs. Wrestling for Dansville, Travis Lana placed 5th @ 160 lbs. |
| WAWC Alumni Aaron Parks and Tyler Sick won their 2nd consecutive LCAA County Championships Saturday 2/4 @ Leroy Highschool. Aaron beat all 3 opponents by pin including Leroy's finalist Kory Cosimeno to capture the LCAA 140 lb. Title. Tyler major decisioned Letchworth's Alan Fagen 11-2 @ 152 lbs. while wrestling for LCAA Dual Meet and Tournament Champion Hornell Highschool. Other WAWC Alumni placing at the LCAA Championships included Way-Co's Neal Vecellio 5th @ 103 lbs., Brad Vecellio 3rd @ 112 lbs., Richy Sikes 2nd @ 119 lbs., Adam Mortensen 2nd @ 130 lbs., Andrew Wray 4th @ 135 lbs. Wrestling for Dansville, Travis Lana placed 3rd @ 160 lbs. |

| WAWC Alumnus Aaron Parks wrestled onto the podium with a 5th place finish at the New York State Championships in the Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, N.Y. Feb. 24-25. Aaron completed his 4 year Hornell Highschool wrestling career at 53-5 with 151 career wins moving him into 2nd place all-time in Hornell History. Aaron is the only wrestler in Hornell history to record 50 wins in a season. Aaron swept 2006 LCAA Counties, Section 5 4B Sectionals and Section 5 Supers!. |

| WAWC Alumnus Aaron Parks won the Section V 140 lb. Championship Feb. 18 @ Fairport Highschool. Aaron defeated Pal-Mac's Cody Williams by maj. dec. 10-1 to advance to the New York State Championships at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. Feb. 24th, 25th. Aaron becomes the 5th member of WAWC to wrestle in the State Tournament. |
