As Radditz looked into his scouter, he saw an incredible power of 701 coming from the spacepod where Gohan was imprisioned! When we first meet Gohan, we knew that there was something special about this kid. For some reason, he was stronger than Goku at times during the Radditz saga and Gohan was only 5! Not only that, but Gohan didn't go through any training at all! After the fight with Radditz, Piccolo knew that Gohan was a special kid so he took him and trained him. After the training, Gohan became a very brave fighter, much like his father. He found a mentor and a good friend in Piccolo.Strengths:
Gohan was never intimidated by anybody. When he was on Namek, he battled enemies many times his size and power. Much like his father, Gohan fought bravely and never gave up. The main strength of Gohan is that his power level skyrockets when he becomes extremely angry. Many fighters lose their cool and concentration when they fight angrily, but not Gohan. He seems to be more focused in a fight when he becomes angry. Why does Gohan get angry? The things that make Gohan angry are not really things that others have done to him, but rather the injustice that he sees around him. When Freeza stabbed Krillin with his horns, Gohan gets extremely pissed off and beats the crap out of Freeza even though Freeza is many times powerful than Gohan. Gohan doesn't have many weaknesses. Since having half Saiyan blood inside him, Gohan always wanted to fight alongside his friends, but his mother, Chi-chi, wanted Gohan to become a scholar. He wanted to fight to protect his family, friends, and the earth. After seeing such injustices such as crime, etc., he continued to fight against his mother's dreams and even created alter-egos such as "The Great Saiyaman".Special Moves:
Like his father, Gohan's special move is the famous Kamehameha. The Kamehameha is a powerful energy blast that is invented by Kame (not King Kame, but Master Roshi). Also, Gohan can perform the Masenkou, which is a special ki blast that was probably developed by Piccolo, his mentor.
