The Great Stephen

"Yes, Dad. Yes, Mom. Sure. Anytime." These are the answers I always hear from a guy I admire much. He never says no unless he can't do what you ask him. he fixes their car when it breaks down. He cleans their house. He cooks their food. he does the marketing. He washes the dishes and even does the laundry at times. I guess he is capable of almost everything a girl can do. Quite impressive, is it not?
Fortunately, he doesn't end only with those traits. By just looking at his innocent face, I can say any girl could easily be attracted to him. He is very appealing. I like the way he moves with smooth coordination and easy grace. I can easily spot him in a crowd because of his height. His face is one of his assets. He is a head-turner with his black hair, expressive eyes, broad shoulders and an athletic build. His captivating smile never fails to get the attention of a girl. He may be aloof or charming depending on the situation. But he has an aura of strength that can intrigue anyone even if he is undemonstrative. His personality remains a mystery because of it bashfulness. Though he is soft-spoken, his voice is that of a deejay - cool but very manly.
Because of these qualities, several girls are running after him in school or at their place. Some even reached the point of visiting him at home. However, he is so shy to face and mingle with them. There was a time that his crush also liked him. It was already the talk of the class He never had the courage to court her. Out of impatience, the girl made the first move. She went to his house but to her disappointment. He didn't show up. He hid himself in a cabinet. How stupid of him! It didn't happen once, but many times. For this reason, I really appreciate his self-control. He never took advantage of the opportunity. If it were other guys, I'm sure they won't do the same.
For now, he focuses himself on his studies especially that he is in his last year at La Salle University in Bacolod. He is taking up Computer Engineering. Way back in his elementary and high school years, he had always been an honor student. His is also a track runner in his school wherein he garnered awards in different events. The more I envy and like him. I'm very weak in spots but he is very good at it. That's one of the reasons why I admire him much. But the best part of him is that he remains simple and humble despite his looks and brains. Not only that, he is also very responsible. I know he is a gentleman to everyone anywhere he may be.
I guess you're already wondering who this guy is. But unfortunately, he is my first-degree cousin. There was a time that I wished we were never related at all. I had a crush on him. Who wouldn't? He got all the characteristics I want in a guy. Will I ever meet a clone of him? Only God can tell. When the day comes that I fall in love and decide to marry, I hope my husband will be as great as my cousin Stephen.
