Hi David, I am glad that shared your story. My husband was also adopted at the age of 7. It is funny that they try to hide so much when you already know where you came from. Bill is looking for his bbro who was also adopted to a different family. His bnam
is KENNY SPOON. They lived on the Seine River First Nations Reserve in Ontario, Canada. Their mother died in 1972, the same year Bill was adopted. I hope you have some luck in finding your siblings! Bill would like to know that is brother is alive and we
l.Did you ever block things out and then remember them when you were older, let me know. Thanks for listening.

Greetings to whoever reads this! I am a male adoptee searching for my birth mother, to meet her
face to face, to see if she is as pretty as I am
goodlooking; to tell her about my wonderful adoptive parents and the happiness that I have experienced over the years. Sometimes I wonder if
she ever saw me after my birth or maybe held me
in her arms at least for a little while. Hopefully I will find answers to many questions
soon....but, to find out "who I am and how I came
to be" would be most important. From what I can
gather from the non-identifying information, she
left her hometown to relocate to another city for
my birth, without telling my birth father of her
pregnancy. She contacted Catholic Charities, the agency of adoption, after first being accepted
into a local maternity home. She then stayed in a private home and worked during her pregnancy.
While at work, she became friends with a co-worker
and moved into her home during the last of her
pregnancy. Now, it's time for my birth. I was
born November 17, 1964 at 10:02am at St. Vincent's
Hospital in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.
A handsome litte baby boy named "Christopher",
weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces, 19 1/2 inches long,
with brown hair and blue eyes. I left the hospital and was placed in foster care. My birth
mother signed the surrender papers on December 3,
1964. Catholic Charities received permanent
commitments from the courts on December 9, 1964.
I was placed with my loving and wonderful adoptive parents on December 11, 1964. My adoption was finalized on March 23, 1965 in the
Circuit Court of the Fourth Judicial Circuit at
the Duval County Courthouse. My birth mother was
a Twin and was born 1942 in Maine and was 22 years
old at my birth. She was of French-Canadian descent, first generation American, and Catholic.
She is described as being 5 feet 2 inches, slim
with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She was a
high school graduate and hobby was painting. She
worked as a secretary. She had a twin sister and
older brother. Her twin was, also, a secretary.
My birth mother's older brother was born 1939 and
was 25 years old at my birth. He worked as a banker, and played the piano. My birth mother's mother was born 1909 and was 55 years old at my birth. She was employed at a dress shop. My
birth mother's father died at the age of fifty-
four, and was previously employed at a bank. He
also played the piano. After my birth, my birth mother returned to her old job. There is little information about my birth father. He was born
in 1940 and was twenty-four years old at my birth.
He was of French-Canadian descent and of the
Protestant faith. He was described as being
6 feet 2 inches tall, with straight dark brown
hair and blue eyes. He had served in the military
and was employed as a ski instructor. That's
about all the information I have at the present.
Catholic Charities is now in the process of doing
a search for my birth mother also.

After reading your story, I wanted to cry for you but it sounded as if you have a good sense of humor about it all. The reason I went into this sight is because I saw the name Dave. David is the name of my brother that I am searching for. I was hoping I h
t the jackpot! Its about a two year difference though. He was born January 20,1961 also in Los Angeles, but was adopted after birth.
I hope you are succesful in finding the answers you are looking for! Good Luck!
