and the ever popular Frankenstein. I would keep the lights turned off and could feel the chill run up my spine as I listened to the eerie music, then jump at each
unexpected thrill. The only thing more fun was to have a friend over so we could
scare each other even more. When I was a little older I was working a night shift,
and we would listen to The CBS Radio Mystery Theater, time would go by so fast
the evening would be over in the blink of an eye. Still to this day there is nothing
like the feeling of unearthly dread you have when driving slowly around dark
foggy backroads listening to a particularly scary tale from radio days gone by.
