Spin
I just stood there starting as the rain began to fall. I felt Karl's hand on my shoulder.
"Come on, you shouldn't stay out here, you'll get sick." As I looked up at him, I was glad it was raining. At least now he couldn't see the tears running down my face.
"I'll be alright, I'll go in soon. I promise." I looked back down at fresh grave of my best friend. Daniel, why did you have to leave me all alone? Why? I felt a new wave of tears come to my eyes, as I remembered when we had found out.
*FLASHBACK*
"Don't worry Jonsey, I'm sure you're alright. It's probably nothing." We sat in the doctor's office waiting. Neither of us were prepared for what the doctor said when he came back into the room.
"Mr. Jones, there is no way I can say this to make it any less painful, but your test came back positive. I'm afraid you have AIDS."
My world cam crashing down around me. Daniel looked almost as if he were expecting this news. I fought to keep my tears down, I knew I had to be strong, if not for myself, then for Daniel.
*END FLASHBACK*
I looked down at the locket Danny had gotten me for my birthday. It played 'I knew I loved You' when you opened it and had our names in it. It had SG engraved on the front. I layed roses on his grave. I turned to go home. I had made up my mind what I was going to do. I didn't care about anyone else right now. I had lost the one person I had ever truly loved. Nobody else's feelings mattered to me anymore. I thought back to when I got the locket from Daniel as I walked home.
*FLASHBACK*
"You didn't have to come here Darren, you shouldn't spend your birthday in a hospital." Daniel looked so fragile when he was in the hospital. He seemed to get worse all teh time. we had come out and told the fans about his problem about two weeks prior. He has gone back in the hospital a few days ago.
"I want to be with you Danny. I love you, no matter what. you should know that." I watched him smile his beautiful smile. Ben, Lee, and Karl were all there as well. Leonie had just had to leave on family business but she had stopped by.
"I've got something for you. I had Ben pick it up for my this morning." I watched as he pulled a small box from the drawer in the table by his bed. He handed it to me. Inside was a gold locket, it was absolutely beautiful.
"Ohh, Jonsey! You didn't have to get me anything, but thank you. It's absolutely wonderful." I hugged him, never wnating to let go.
*END FLASHBACK*
I wiped the tears from my eyes as I sat down on my bed. I lit the candles on my bedside table as I grabed a pen and paper. I felt my tears welling up again as I began to write.
Guys- I put my pen down and wiped my eyes. I didn't even feel the knife, all I saw was the blood running down my hand and dripping on the bedspread and the carpet. I looked down at the locket in my hand as the darkness blurred my vision. I'd get to be with my Jonsey again, soon enough.

I know this is the coward's way out, but I just can't go on without Daniel. He was the only person I ever loved and I hope you can forgive me for what I'm going to do, and I want you to know that I love you all. Tell the fans the truth for me. Tell them everything.
