You know those kids pool-snake thingies?  Well, thats what I used to get the shape for the front end.  I wanted to follow the lines of the guards and hood past where the original designers stopped.

It turned out that the foam stuff was too soft, so I went for more solid stuff.  Notice I continued the lines of the hood all the way through the intake and radiator vent.  At the back end I copied the angle of the tail-lights to create the legs for the rear spoiler.
