You showed me emotion only once,
You made my heart take wings
That one day in the wood
When moonlight graced our forms

That one kiss held so many flames,
It made me long and yearn
Made me weep
So long afterwards

But after that,
The flames shrank away
Your touch seemed so distant
Your eyes went hungry and cold

It wasn't long till I too shrank away,
Away from that barbaric touch
but I will always remember my parting words:
