instruments. We play at churches, rest homes and other civic functions.”
Instruments played at Jams: Hammered Dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, guitar, banja,
autoharp, fiddle, washtub base and dobro.

The Shawnee Valley Dulcimer Society meets on the first and the third Tuesday of each month at the St. Thomas Lutheran Church, located at 9th and Franklin Streets Brookville, Indiana. Meetings run from 5-8 P M. The 5-6 hour is devoted to slow jam, perfect for beginners. The 7-8 hour is set aside for lessons and other special sharing. The 7-8 hour is devoted to Jams and/or Practice sessions. Any one with an interest in Acoustic instruments is welcome to join them.
