This class is based upon the teachings of Ouspensky (The Psychology of Man's Possible Evolution) and Gurdjieff. The Fourth Way is a personal growth philosophy, and enables individuals to transcend the mechanical, automatic reactions that most of us depend on to get us through our lives. This class is offered every 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, in Navasota, Texas (15 minutes south of Bryan/College Station). The leaders of this class are advanced in this pathway, and can assist you on this path if you so choose. Most of the members of our current congregation have studied and practice Faery Wicca. We are more than willing to learn other formats, and can teach elements of several other forms. To study the basics (classes alone will not enable you to reach 1st Degree) of Faery Wicca through the ISE, you may do so by attending the classes, but we will only teach the advanced forms to those who have chosen a formal teacher from among the willing Sponsors. Currently, we have a Tuesday-night, weekly Wiccan class at the house of one of our resident Sponsors (a 3rd Degree, by wiccan reckoning) in Houston, Texas. To get more information about the Tuesday night classes, please email the Hostess. One of the Elders of the ISE, in Gentry, AK, holds classes in Faery Wicca, as well. The founding Elder of the ISE is a practicing Lakota Shaman. He was taught by the Lakota Souix in Nebraska, and has brought his teachings to us. Shamanism is not necessarily taught well in a class format, but on a one-on-one basis.
