The origions of AFI ( A Fire Inside) can be tracked all the way back to high school when teenagers davey havok (vocals),Markus Stopholese (guitar), Vick (bass), and adam carson (drummer) started a hardcore punk band in Ukiah, CA in 1991. Vick soon left the group, The first of many line up changes the band would endure on the road recognition. Geoff Kresge took his place, and AFI released an EP Behing the Times. The band split up after graduation and it seemed AFI was over when the members traded there instruments for academia. |
