This was my first sucessful turbo kit. Completely homemade, built by me with a little help from others. I got this car for $200 with a blown tranny, it was automatic. Converted it to 5psd and ran some boost through it. Pretty pleased with how the whole thing went. Mods List: STD Manifold with custom adapter plate Garrett T3 Turbo, .42 .48 2.5" Custom mandrel bent downpipe/exhaust to cherry bomb, ended right behind the front seats haha DRAG Front Mount Intercooler Custom Intercooler Plumbing DSM Blow off Valve (crushed!) DSM 450cc injectors with resistor box Uberdata Engine Management Via a chipped P06 Homemade Manual Boost Controller set at 8-9psi Autometer Boost Gauge, Sunpro Oil Pressure Gauge Field SFC I ran this setup on a basemap for about 2 months on 8-9psi. It ran very well for an engine with 260k on it and was probably somewhere around 170whp which was roughly an 80hp gain because these motors stock run about 102hp to the crank. All in all I have about $600 in the turbo setup, 80 hp for $600? Definately worth it. Eventually I traded the turbo setup to a friend, you will probably see his car on here soon.
