Code of Ethics - HRV
The HRV proudly exhibits the most important part of our code of ethics. It is listed below for all to see. It is not a "policy" or "principle"....it is a COE. Non-adherence by any member of our club, will result in that persons membership being terminated. The Rottweiler Breed is far too important to NOT have ethical people as it's members.
This COE is listed on the bottom of each membership application signed:
I (we) will abide by the FCI Standard for the Rottweiler and will only breed to dogs/bitches that comply with this standard.
Further, I (we) will only breed with Rottweilers that have an OFA#, GDC#, or that have been certified HD Free or HD +/-
by the ADRK and are at least two years of age. I (we) understand that these are conditions for becoming and remaining
members of the Hawaii Rottweiler Verein.
