A puppy or dog sold on a AKC limited registration may later be upgraded to full registration to be bred if deemed feasibly by the owner of the puppy/dog and by Daybrightener Kennels.  A payment of the difference in price between a pet quality pup and a breeding quality pup at the time of sale will be required for the upgrade.  Payment may also be made in the form of Daybrightener Kennels receiving pick of the litter from TWO successful breeding/whelpings.

Requirements to upgrade to full registration:

Payment of the upgrade price or a contract for Daybrightener Kennels to receive pick of the litter from TWO     breedings/whelpings.

Dog must not have any defects in health, genetics, hips, or eyes.

Daybrightener Kennels must approve each stud male or bitch to be mated in writing.

The owner of the bitch or sire assumes all responsibility in breeding the dog.  A contract will be signed stating that Daybrightener Kennels is not responsible for any costs or problems related to the resulting breeding or pregnancy.  Breeding a dog is a risk and the owner should consider it carefully.
