If you have any orders or trades going with Angie, she wants you all to know that she's unable right now to get online, for the most part. Lillian is having a difficult time transitioning, Angie is really sore from the birth, (not to mention the start and stop labor for several weeks,) and she's tandem nursing! Any orders that were done before the birth, her hubby sent out for her. The rest will have to wait until she can actually do anything.
She just didn't want anyone to think she just dropped out of sight. She has just been FORCED to be on a full babymoon! lol

At this point, there's still not much to report. Her baby is still very needy/clingy, can't stand to be put down. She's still very sore, but will be going to the chiropractor again later this week. After two visits, she's hoping she's able to get back to her sewing machine!

And yes, I'm between Gadsden and Boaz Alabama, if that means anything to you. I'm from New Orleans, but hubby's from this area, so we moved here in 2001, as it's a much better place to raise a family!

Anything that was completed before birth, she got her hubby to ship out for her. I'm not sure how many of her customs were done and how many were still waiting at the time of birth, but I know that she's mentally ready to get back to work, but physically, can't quite manage it yet.

That's always a good thing to remember, but in this case, I'm not sure it would apply. She just gave birth on Good Friday, not even a week ago, so I really don't think we're approaching critical! lol

well...congrats to Angie! i hope her and baby are doing well soon! i had an order of flats that i got a pp shipping confirmation on thursday and haven't received yet, but wasn't expecting since i figured she probably had someone send it out for her if she wasn't able to get it to the mailbox that day.

I am just popping in real quick as I was notified I shiuld read this thread. We had a very hard birth and I'm really not able to sit long nor put baby down.

Nearly all orders were sewn and ready to go before the birth but many still needed packaged. DH shipped the ones that were ready but clearly I have to be the one to package them to avoid mix ups as Dh has no clue what's what or where to find anything. I store my things carefully in a closet with file cabnits to keep it out of children's hands but that means it's not all layed out and easy to find, for anyone but me.

Seriously, I absolutely can't do it yet. Her should got hung up on my pelvic bone, my tail bone is mildly fractured, she was born with a mild cord prolapse, was stuck with head out but body did not follow for several minutes. Took nearly 4 minutes to get her out. Not critically dangerous, but yes, her entire head/face was very bruised, she had batecial hemerage and very traumatized by all the stuff that had to be done to her to make shure she was ok. So between her slow start, nursing trouble at first and my concern for her due to what she had been through, not to mention my complete inability to lay down, bend over or twist, I am forced to take a real baby moon. I have never had a rough birth before, always up and running by day 3 and totally back to normal. This time we had a different experience.

I was on bed rest most of the pregnancy so I have made it very clear all along what my situation is and that while I normally can get orders out in X amount of time, "abc is my current situation, so delays can occur due to that". I try to update customers as best I can. Unfortunately, I remain human and can make mistakes. Kelley is upset that I got her updates mixed up with another customer with the a similar name and order and told her, her order was for sure mailed when in fact it was the others. I feel very dumb for that mistake and take full responsibility for my error. All I can say is I am human, mistakes can happen, I try to work them out as best I can and listen to my customers wishes and needs in working things out when this does occur. I tried to convey how sorry I was and how completly unintentional it was, but I am sure in email it's hard to get a real sense of sensarity vs bs. I also, told her I would refund her shipping. I'm truly sorry for the delay and mix up on her order. I like Kelley and would never want to short her or lie to her ext.

All I can say is all my current customers knew I was ready to have a baby, nearly all of them were custom requested through email/PM by the customer and excepted on my part with the premise that I could have a baby any minute, so that could affect the order.

If anyone has anymore questions or concerns please PM Tasha as I simply can't sit here any longer. I've been trying to pop on once a day and scan emails for anything urgent but never get far. I'm trying to get myself and baby well so life can continue, but I simply can not and will not push us before we are ready. Especially not after another mama friend who had her baby the day before me just went into congestive heart failure yesterday. I'm not about to over do it.

An order that a customer never recieved from august has nothing to do with her just having a baby. I am sure you would not feel the same if you were on the other side.

I certainly never meant to stir up anything by posting this thread. I just wanted anyone who was waiting on an order or trade to know what the situation was. Angie asked me to do that for her, since it's difficult for her to spend any time on the computer right now.

As for orders from months ago, you should always check feedback, ALL of it. Things can happen, WAHM's can make mistakes, and the good ones will tell you their side of the story too. I believe this to be the case in the instances pointed out. Of course, in all truthfullness, I am Angie's friend, and have been so even when she's had issues. To the best of my knowledge, she always accepts her responsibilities, and will usually go above and beyond to try to make it up to the customer. I know for a fact this is what happened with Kelley, as I was on the phone with Angie while she was extremely upset over the situation, trying to figure out a way to make it right.

As for taking orders while very pregnant, many women do this. I don't think there's a problem, as long as they let you know the situation, which Angie did. Everyone knew there was a good chance that a birth/baby might interrupt their order.

I've not been around here very long, but I'm certainly glad to see that most of you do understand the situation. This was not meant to be a thread to bolster or bash Angie, either way. It was simply trying to let those with outstanding orders know what the situation is, and that there may be a delay, and why. MOST people would see that as good communication, I think.

Honestly now, what is the matter with some people. This mama just had a baby and is dealing with so much. I know working out of home I wasn't expected back for 6 week min. Please do not be so harsh, remember we are all moms. If there are issues address them at another time, who are you to judge. Let her enjoy her new baby and not worry about all this petty BS.
