Story:
After getting a D+ in American History and graduating from college after 7 years Tommy
Callahan goes home to Sandusky Ohio to work for his father again in Callahan Auto Parts
factory. Tommy comes home to find out that his father is getting married to a younger woman
named Beverly, Tommy is ecstatic to also find that he will finally have the brother he always
wanted Paul. At the wedding while performing on stage with Tommy, Tommy's father suffers a
heart attack and dies. After the funeral, the co-owners of Callahan Auto realize that they need to
sell enough brake pads to pay off the loan Tommy's father took to get the new brake pad division
up. Tommy volunteers to go on his father's sale trip bringing along his father's right-hand-man,
Richard for help and guidance. It is then revealed to the audience that Tommy's new mother and
brother in law are actually married and scammed Tommy's father to get money. After many
failures Tommy and Richard make their first sale and Tommy learns how to use the same edge
in selling as his father did. After several attempts to stop Tommy from selling and delivering
brake pads, Paul commits computer fraud the company's delivery computer. After finding out
that the computer system has the wrong addresses and wrong delivery time on them, Callahan
Auto realizes that they will have to sell the company with a rival auto parts company, Zalinski
Auto. Tommy and Richard decide to fly to Detroit(disguised as flight attendants) at one last
attempt to save the company by trying to convince Zalinski not to buy out the company. After
being denied, Tommy fakes a bomb attempt and forces Zalinski to buy 500,000 brake pads to
save the company and expose that Beverly and Paul are actually married to each other making
the marriage to Tommy's father a fake. Paul is then arrested for computer fraud and in the end
Tommy saves the company just like he set out to do.
Justin Whittaker's Review
This is probably one the best comedies I've seen ever. Containing SNL
comedy with Spade and Farley as a team being the skinny smartass and fat idiot. This movie has
it all, slap stick, physical and sarcastic comedy. Very memorable scenes especially where Farley
sets the toy car on fire explaining how their break pads are better than others, Spade punching
Farley eventually hitting him across the head with a 2x4 and when Farley tries to dress himself in
the incredibly small plane bathroom.
Hilarious/Memorable Quotes:
Richard: Hello everyone this is Tommy he�s gonna take you through my little schmile here,
Tommy is a Scorpio, enjoys long walks and has never been laid. Alright exits, there�s one back
here and one by the wing usually.
(Tommy tries making hand signals to go along with this)
Richard: Alright, seat belts, put the small end into the big end and click, well, alright, if you
don�t know how to buckle your seatbelt I'll have Tommy come back there and hit you in the head
with a tack-hammer because you are a retard! Life jackets. . .
(Tommy reaches for life jack accidentally grabbing child size)
Richard: These may not help, because what are the odds of us landing in water, I'd say we would
have a better chance of hitting a mountain.
(Tommy inflates jacket and it begins strangling him, he reaches for a woman�s pen and pops the
jacket)
Richard: He's a big dumb animal isn�t he folks?

Richard: AH! dammit! melted chocolate the size of dags, that outta up the resale price.
Tommy: I think we are going to be alright, they are covered by a thin candy shell..hmm,
surprised you didn't know that.
Richard: I think your brain is covered by a think candy shell.
Tommy: You�re the one who's brain has the shell on it...
Richard: Are you talking ?
Tommy: Shut up Richard.

Richard: It�s the next town tons of fun its gotta be on the map, well find moron well moron is
here (points at Tommy) so McGee's Port must be...
(Deer steps onto road)
Richard: Yeah, look Magellan.

Richard: Dammit loading it up took over an hour, now we only got 20 minutes before Brady
Automotive closes.
Tommy: Well what are we gonna do with it we can't just leave it here ?
Richard: I dunno take it to the vet.
Tommy: You take dead animals to the vet ?
Richard: No, but I'll take you to the vet.
Tommy: Yeah take you to the....
Richard: Got that ?
Tommy: Shut up Richard.
