| I Last Changed This On: June 28, 2004. 6:02 A.M. Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. . .but there was obvious evidence to suggest otherwise! Holy Hell, it's been almost a year since I updated this thing. Well, there's a perfect good reason for that. . . I really haven't had anything to say. I haven't watched much "Family Feud" this season. The format of the show just bored me to no end and I stopped watching. But, a good hiatus does everything good and I've rekindled my interest. So, let's get hopping with some news and tidbits. First off, we have lost another announcing legend. If losing Rod Roddy much too soon back in October wasn't bad enough, we have lost Gene Wood as well. Gene passed away on May 21, 2004 from a battle with cancer. Farewell, Gene. Wherever you are now, we hope that you are at peace. Turning to something slightly happier, "Family Feud" was renewed for an incredible SIXTH SEASON earlier this year. Way to go, Richard and staff! Richard and friends will have to go one more year past next in order to tie with his predecessor. (Ray Combs revival lasted seven seasons [six with Ray, one with Richard Dawson.]) So much for Louie Anderson's prediction of "It ("Family Feud") will be off the air within a year.) And on a very high note, I encourage all of you "Family Feud" fans to go to Game Show Presentation Software and download a copy of the "Family Feud Challenge." This program is incredible! The resemblance to the real show is uncanny! It's really a lot of fun to play around with and marvel at the sheer brilliance of it. I don't have Game Show Network anymore. . .but from what I hear, it's no big loss. Don't be surprised to see "Family Feud" disappear from the schedule soon. I hear that they may not be renewing the Goodson-contract. This isn't the same Game Show Network anymore, kiddies. So much junk on there. . .who watches this stuff? People who are up at 3 AM. . . Actually, that sounds right up my alley. :) I've added to old sections with some new pictures. They are listed directly below the photographs of the hosts and deleted some of the extranneous sections that just take up bandwidth, Go ahead and browse around. I think you'll like what you see. Upon inspection, this is the only "Family Feud" site still active. Good Lord! What do I do? I'm on my own! No promises on the next update. . .but rest assured, there will be one. |
