Stage Information

I am proud to report that Dawson College has 15 students who are graduating from the Accounting ?Princples and Related Computer Applications program in July. This a intensive full time day program that has been designed to prepare graduates for immediate employment in the field of Accounting, especially with the use of the latest version of common computerized accounting systems, such as Simply Accounting and Accpac.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

- Analyze and process information in the accounting cycle
- Manage bookkeeping procedures
- Work in a computerized setting
- Manage supporting task
- Interact effectively in the contect of different business situations

As a result, we are looking for companies that can offer an internship for our graduates. You can be assured our graduates are truly qualified and they have above average accounting skills. Your company can benifit from the stage which should be at least 100 hours. The benifits wil flow both way, on one hand the graduates can acquire valuable experiences and on the other hand you can start to reduce the overload of work you have. Also you can consider this stage as extended trial period and consider the student for future job opportunities at your company.
