Announcing the A.E.C. Program in Accounting Principles!
This program is offered at Dawson College and lasts seven months. During that time the students aquire a business foundation and an understanding of the fundamental principles of accounting.
During this intensive study program emphasis is place on applied business methods and problem solving in the realm of accounting. Computerized bookkeeping applications are made very familiar to the student thoughout the studies. Financial statements generated by computer are analysed and fully understood in the course of these studies.
Accounting competencies are acquired by our students and will allow them to specialize in bookkeeping procedures.
This area is a very flexible offering job opportunities in all kinds of industries in both private and public companies. Beside that, Accounting is one of the "Top 150 de Formation" according to "Les Carrieres d'Avenir 2004" a publication by Empli-Quebec.
