With her head hanging low,
She weeps
While others are deep in slumber
She cries for freedom
Freedom from painful memories,
Memories of violent acts of hate
Hate eats her with every tear she bares
Karrie is alone.

Alone and scared of pain,
Painful thoughts bother her rest
Longing to rest in the arms of an angel
To sleep in the hands of God.
Karrie cries.

Hours of pain, years of scars
Calling,falling,
Longing for your hand.
She cries,
For Comfort from the night
For rest from the pain.
Yearning, burning
Aching soul.

Jesus, master, make me whole
I know not my way
I fear the face of day
Years, fears
Washed away with all her tears.

As she sees the gleam in His eyes,
And knows
Freedom has been found.
She cries no longer
Now she is stronger
Karrie,be free!
