I have been writing poetry since I was 7 years of age. It won a sticker for best in the class. I have been inspired to write by other poets, but mostly just living life as a person who doesn't seem to fit in or belong in anything... My poetry is just my feelings on paper, out where people can read them. I do not claim my poetry is very good, but it is my only way of expressing my true feelings. I do however believe God gave me a gift of words in the form of poetry. Depession is something I deal with a lot,.I write a lot of down or depressed poetry, because I write out of feelings and that is the feeling I feel the most... I like to write mostly when it is raining or early in the morning when all is still,and the dew is still gracing the grass tips. I will write as long as God grants me my will to reach people;because poetry is step one in my life...I am still waiting for step two... Missionary. |
