| A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. He eagerly watched it to see what happened. The cocoon began to tear open very slightly and the man watched for over an hour with tears in his eyes as the little butterfly struggled to break free. Eventually he could watch no longer, so he took a pair of scissors and cut open the cocoon. The tiny butterfly broke free but it's frail wings were useless and the poor creature couldn't fly. The man watched helplessly as the butterfly lost its battle for life. What he didn't realise was the butterfly needed to struggle out of the cocoon to force it's life's fluid into its fragile wings, giving them strength to fly. This is a lesson we all need to learn.. When you are struggling just remember that at the end you'll have the opportunity to fly... |
