It still amazes me how fast a child grows.Haley is now 5 months old,while it seems like only yesterday i sat in the middle of my bed with Jessie at 1:00am counting contractions,ticking off the moments until Haley desided to make her appearance.When Jessie was born 20 years ago it was truly the greatest moment of my life.as i sat in that waiting room on Jan.10th 2004 the feeling was much the same.
The first time i saw her,laying there in her mothers arms,she looked up at me and smiled.Now you may be thinking,it wasn't a smile,just gas or something,but you just KNOW in your heart that she sees you,and the thread that will bind you forever is created at that moment. |
