Physical Description: 5'6", 130, all curves but also mostly muscle. Nearly flat white skin, golden hair that is full and to her shoulders, large green eyes. She has a long, attractive face, with small lips and high cheekbones. Her penchant for wearing exotic clothing is echoed in her rival Demona, and they are always one-upping each other. She likes darker metallic colors. Her voice is strong, but more feminine than commanding. |

Emotional/Mental Description: passionate, and friendly. Loni is full of life and love, and is thrilled to be Searched along with her brother. She jokes a bit with him, and with those she considers close friends, but is all business otherwise. She gets any job done soon, quick and with ease. |

|
|
Skills: hold bred but with her heritage it was no surprise that she was Searched. She has training in the Star craft which allows her access to the amazing lenses and such which predict Threadfall. She could easily learn to pilot a real star craft, but unfortunately that is not for her to reach. She will be able easily to stay with a dragon's complex movement. She is sure footed, and has been trained by Skylar to defend herself, though there is some doubt if she is as good at it as Demona. She has a lot of policical training as well, being highly ranked with a gold riding mother, she was privy to certain things before they became common knowledge in the Hold, and thus was also in on overthrowing Lord Deon. |

History: with a gold rider as a mother, she was allowed to stay at Blackstone Weyr for a time, but then Zella moved on and left Loni and her two sisters with their father to learn his craft. She is not bitter about this, knowing that the time will come for her to fly the skies, and perhaps find herself a fine dragon rider to bear children with. Her brother Laren was searched before she was, and that made her laugh. |

Notes and Special Information: Loni believes in the cause of freedom and love. She will fly anywhere to try and work out Holders problems, so they will not escalate to the level they had with Deon. |

Pets/Hobbies/Posessions: she has no pets, one of her favorite hobbies is hanging out with her brother and watching dragons fly, and she has extensive clothing. |

Loni greets you as you enter the weyr she shares with her brother Laren.
"Hello, are you tired? Perhaps you'd like to sit down."
She offers you a comfortable seat, while she seems to prefer standing. Actually, it seems she prefers to pose while you wait for her brother to arrive.
"What is that?" You ask of a strange object sitting on a wide work table.
"It's a star sight," she tells you. "We use it to measure the time until Threadfall. And for other things, it's good for all kinds of distance but you can really only use it at night, since you have to look into the sky. It gets too bright to use it during the day time."
"But then you can see it coming," Laren says, arriving with wet hair and a long, white robe tied around him. "Welcome! I suppose Loni has shown you nothing while I've been in the baths."
Loni makes a huffy noise, but laughs just the same.

Later on that evening...
Loni looks through the next pages of the Weyr's little newspaper... and sees something that catches her eye. It's an advert for Talor Cliff Weyr's clutch with of all things a white and a blue dragon as the parents!
Loni smiles. "Oh, this will do just perfectly!" She says, and then leaves for Laren's place. |
