I would like to share a few more special memories. I remember my uncle Dick loved helping me practice my softball. Every summer I can remember them both taking me and my bother to a Grove City hotel called the Value Inn. We'd pack 2 huge coolers full of food and drinks. We'd swim and watch movies. We stayed all week. We went out to eat at a restaurant one time during that week. Every morning the hotel had complimentary breakfast. We'd go about 3 times every summer. Me and David had the time of our lives. Every moment spent with them was special. Its so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. This is a picture of my uncle Dick with my cousin Brian taken in 1994.
I found some poems on the internet that I'd like to share. I read them and they instantly brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure my mom and my brother will definitely agree that these poems explain a little how we feel. I love you very much aunt Betty and uncle Dick. I miss you both very much.

In tears we saw you sinking
And watched you pass away
Our hearts were almost broken
We wanted you to stay
But when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain
How could we wish you back with us
To suffer that again
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God took you home

If roses grow in heaven
Lord please pick a bunch for me
Place them in my aunt Betty's arms
And tell her they're from me
Tell her I love her and miss her
and when she turns to smile
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile
Because remembering her is easy
I do it every day
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away
