| Dawn went into hospital Thursday night [Feb 28] to be induced due to concerns about the baby's well being. No one expected Fiona to arrive before the next afternoon... Imagine our surprise when nurses discovered Dawn was dilated to 9cm around 4:30 a.m., and ready to push! Fiona arrived VERY quickly - which was good, as she had the cord wrapped twice around her neck, and once around her wrist! She pinked up with a little bit of oxygen helping along the process. She is just fine and healthy, and settling into the family wonderfully. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
