Dawnie's Friends

Here are some of the wonderful people who have touched my life and gave me so many reasons to laugh and smile.  Where would we be without friends?  Some of these friends are from my hometown and some of them are people that I have met online and from a simple "hello" frienships were formed as strong as if we lived next door.  I am proud to call each one of them "friend" even if I might be related to a few.

Bill, my best friend, my inspiration.

Me, my cousin Janey with the red hair and my sister Barbara.  Janey lives in New Hampshire and my sister just lives up the road.

This is Anna, my new "sister".  She is from Sweden and I was her very first ICQ contact way back in January of '99.  We talked and became good friends so we decided that we had to meet and so we did.  Anna spent 2 weeks in the United States with me this summer and will be back next year.

Here we have Stephanie and my daughter Kim.  Stephanie is another one of my ICQ contacts who vacationed here in Pennsylvania with me this summer.  Steph is from Georgia.

Here's my longtime friend Mike playing guitar with Bill.

This is Jackie, my sister-in-law from Sacramento, California.  I don't get to see enough of her but we sure have had some good times together.

Janey and her husband Bill.

Here we are, having fun at Anna's "welcome to America" party back in July.  I do believe we made her visit a time she won't soon forget.

This is my daughter, Kim and my nephew, Dave who loves to party with us.
We just call him "Mundo"

Here we have my good friend Dale who lives near me.  We talk on the phone every day and
share a lot of the same interests, especially our canine friends.  Below is a picture of her
doing what she loves, showing her boy, Thunder.

These are the people who are very important to me.  Some stood by me and held my hand and listened to me when my husband passed away.  Others have shown me that there is still so much life to enjoy and laughter to share....and yes even yet, sometimes just hold my hand.
