| Dawnflight's Retrievers has undergone a lot of changes. Our family, as well as the kennel has moved. We have sold some of our breeding stock and we have acquired some new breeding stock. We also changed our kennel name from Dawnflight's Hunting Retrievers to Dawnflight's Retrievers. While there has been some changes made in breeding stock, location and kennel name. There is one thing that has never changed, and that is the quality of our dogs. Our goal is to raise and train top quality Labrador and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and to sell them at affordable prices. Our dogs all come from top of the line hunting dogs. You will see names in their pedigree's such as Candlewoods, Snake Eyes, Riparian Rough Rider, Call Me Mister Independence, Aces High lll, Silverbrook Return To Sender (Elvis) and there are many more. All of our breeding stock has been personally picked out and purchased by us. They have all been socialized with other dogs, people and other animals. We do most of our own training from start to finish, but we also have sent some of them to professonal trainers, so that they may continue the advance training required to compete in upper level AKC Hunt Tests. This will enable them to continue the lineage of their ancestors on their pedigrees. While we do choose to have them compete in hunt tests, all of our dogs were born to hunt, raised to hunt and do hunt. They all possess good temperaments, outstanding trainabilty, loyalty and an extremely strong desire to hunt and retrieve. All of our dogs are very versatile, they hunt Waterfowl as well as Upland Game Birds. It is our ulitmate goal for all of their offspring to possess these same qualities and we do everything within our power to make this happen. |
